Clay County Environmental Health Division conducts inspections in accordance with North Carolina sanitation rules and regulations. Establishments include restaurants, foodstands, daycares, schools, summer camps, nursing homes, meat markets, local confinement, and lodging. Consultations are provided upon request. Plan review is required prior to construction and permitting.
